Old Cuban

This is a modern classic, and a riff between a Mojito and a French 75, made using our First Run Rum.


  • 1.5 oz. of First Run Rum
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 3/4 oz. of fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. of simple syrup
  • 2-3  dashes of Angostura bitters


  1. Combine all ingredients in a shaker.
  2. Add ice, then shake well.
  3. Double strain into a stemless wine glass over fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint.
