Description

This riff on an Old Fashioned incorporates Luxardo Maraschino and a dash of Absinthe with our Straight Bourbon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz. of Straight Bourbon
  • 1/4 oz. of Luxardo Maraschino
  • 1/4 oz. of simple syrup
  • 1 dash of Peychauds Bitters
  • 1 dash of Angostura Bitters
  • 1 dash of Absinthe

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients.
  2. Add ice, and stir well.
  3. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
  4. Garnish with a lemon peel, expressing it over the top.
