Please join us for Historic Waitsfield's neighborhood Country Christmas party!

Santa arrives at 11 am on Bridge Street!

The Joslin Children's Library will be hosting cookie decorating from 10-3 leaving parents hands free to visit all the shops in the village.

There will be a special Christmas Cocktail Trail, all participating businesses will have special cocktail tasters made by sponsors Mad River Distillers! The "bar" will be opening at 12 in the Mad River Chamber offices where Barrie Fisher will be photographing you, Santa and your pets!

At dusk will be the lighting of the luminaries to celebrate our joy for the season ending with a Holiday Chorale Concert at the Waitsfield United Church of Christ at 7:30.

About Mad River Distillers

Mad River Distillers is a craft producer of whiskey, rum and brandy in the heart of Vermont’s Mad River Valley. The ingredients for the spirits are sourced regionally from non-GMO, fair trade and organic suppliers and the mashing, fermenting, distilling and aging occur on site at the distillery in Warren, Vermont. The current line includes two flagship whiskies and 3 limited release whiskey offerings, 2 cocktail rums and 3 aged rums, and an apple brandy. The Burlington Tasting Room is open for retail sales as well as sit down tastings and cocktail service. Walk-ins okay! We accept reservations for parties of 6 or more in 1.5 hours blocks. Our hours:

Warren Distillery

Distillery tours by prior appointment only. Please note we can seldom accommodate same-day tour requests. The visit lasts approximately 45 minutes, including samples of our award-winning spirits. Please email info@madriverdistillers.com with your party size and preferred date.
