Mad River Taste Place

Open Monday - Saturday 10am - 6pm

For many small and emerging food and beverage makers and growers; branding and marketing lags behind the artisanal quality of their products resulting in a lack of connection with potential consumers. The Mad River Taste Place supports our community’s Makers and Growers through a curated experience where visitors can learn about, sample and purchase food and beverages that originate in the Mad River region and from all corners of Vermont. Stories about the producers are told throughout the Taste Place and customers can connect directly with them at tasting events. 

Taste Place is the Valley’s go-to destination for Vermont craft beer, local cider and wine, and hyper-local distilled spirits. Located only  4 miles away from the distillery in the village of Waitsfield, the Taste Place is proud to feature the spirits of Mad River Distillers for sampling and sales. While you are there, taste one of the fabulous Vermont cheeses and pair them with artisanal jams, crackers and charcuterie.
